Want to learn more about your site’s main intent drivers or understand what areas of intent you do well?
This information is a crucial element of modern-day search and AI search and the starting point is mapping.
Whether you want to dump a screaming frog export or a batch of URLs from GSC – you can import and answer a couple of simple prompts to get your intent mapped. It is intended to be a time saver – I would still recommend taking some time on checking these urls – if you know you have key videos or infographics or other ‘engaging’ media – you will need to manually mark these as ‘presentation’.

The site intent mapper – is a very basic mapping tool, working off the url text and structure only – the CSV can then be uploaded to the SEO colour wheel – to help visualise which pages drive traffic and the strength, therefore of their intent and the strengths of your content.
For example – You may have a heritage company or invested heavily in in your staff training and sponsored many events – you will likely have a very strong ‘Brand’ intent – people searching for the company. You may also have a very strong social team – and creative – fulfilling the ‘presentation’ category and so on. The idea is to find weak categories and those that are staurated or causing duplication. It can also help you with identifying structural weakness and, most importantly right now – Identify the often sprawling ‘informational’ intent category – which is largely now obsolete – long form or reams of text is now no longer serving any purpose.
(If you would like to book a consultation on the topic of transforming your informational pages – you can do so further down this page or checkout this mapping as a consultation and managed mapping)

Annie is very experienced with SEO strategies, site build, site migration and site speed related issues - she's been advising on a number of these issues that were impacting out site. She's introduced the SEO colour wheel and the content audit - ranking to us, hugely helping me with understanding how the site is performing. And best of all, she's a workaholic - very engaged and communicative. Communication really is brilliant with Annie.
