Background information
This music band – Piccadilly Swing were looking to re-vamp their site, and ultimately gain better visibility. Hosted on a SquareSpace platform the client was under time pressure to get the domain onto an alternative host within 3 weeks of first making contact.
The Brief
To fix a website that was out of date. To get it live as quickly as possible, manage the migration and essentially deliver – a hassle free service – as the client did’nt have a huge amount of time to spend on the content and imagery.
Timescale
Needed yesterday! The client was very amenable, but if it was possible to do this quickly – it would allow them to avoid unnecessary fees from renewing their existing platform.
The Result
We managed to hit the deadline – turning the base project round in 4 weeks, there is still ongoing work to do, but the site now has a logical and user focused structure with quick internal navigation to allow people access the key information, get to know the band a little better and enjoy the sounds and videos of the band.
The site was launched on the new platform in February 2024 and now work is to begin adding and improving with new content and updating the social channels, providing SEO and website management.
